Wookey Hole Acoustic Club news

I am very excited to announce that the wonderful and charming Johnny Francis is going to be helping me out with running the acoustic club from March onwards.

 I needed some help to inject a boost of much needed new energy and Johnny has come to the rescue!

Johnny is going to help with the newsletter/promotional side of things, and we have also agreed that we’ll alternate running the club each month. On the months which I run, the format will remain the same, including the famous cake break. On the months which Johnny runs, the format will be slightly different and there will be a PA.

We hope that offering a bit more  variety in this way will help to attract a wider range of musicians, create more interest, and pull in more listeners too.

Personally I am also really looking forward to being able to come along and just relax and enjoy the evening without having to run it!! I hope that these changes work for all of our much valued, regular supporters as well as bringing in some new faces.

I’ll be running the club as usual on Saturday 27^th February, then Johnny will run it on March 27^th, and we’ll alternate from then onwards.  We hope these changes work for you and look forward to seeing how it all develops.
