Bill Smarme & the Bizness

"He's almost reached the Tommy Cooper status of making the audience smile by just being there, and his occasional bafflement or mistake can bring the house down.
If there's ever been a more crowded, noisier, happier evening at The Rondo then it was probably on one of his previous visits.
Bill's Alright!!"

This sharp suited super slick trio take modern and contemporary Hits, from Frankie goes to Hollywoods "Relax" to Motorhead "Ace of Spades" via The Spice Girls, The Smiths and Ian Dury and serve them up skillet hot, in 40s/50s western swing and boogie-woogie style.

Visually entertaining, musically stunning - Edinburgh Fringe Scintillating 40's swingsters somehow put the boogaloo into Beastie Boys, the Charleston into T-Rex and the swing into the Sex Pistols! Fantastic stage show with a real swinging sound - Glastonbury Festival

Singing in a group

·         Do you love singing in the loo/car/shower but are afraid of singing in front of other people?

·         Do you love to sing and want to share the experience and joy with others?

If so, this workshop is for you. Singing in a group is joyous and uplifting and this will be an opportunity to learn and sing rounds and simple harmonies from around the world, creating a powerful sense of collective enjoyment and shared purpose, as well as a fabulous sound.

Don’t be scared, just come and join in, whether you think you can sing or not. No-one will have to sing on their own and you are guaranteed to relax, have fun, and feel great afterwards!!

  • Microphones - how they work & how to use them
  • Dealing with the dreaded feedback
  • Equalisation
  • DI boxes
  • Anything else the participants wish to cover

All are welcome.
